The Therapy Services Department at Pauls Valley General Hospital provides Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology services for patients in acute care, home health, and outpatient clinic settings. From sports medicine to wound care, our therapists have the experience to guide our patients on the road to healing.
Our Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic offers a rarely found environment compared to the fast-paced, double-booked style of many therapy clinics. We are committed to matching one therapist to one patient for each session in order to provide the most individualized care possible and we will always take the time to listen to your needs. We also are committed to staffing only state licensed and nationally board certified therapists in our facility. You will never see an aide for any part of your care during your time with us. Our Physical Therapy staff has extensive experience in numerous areas including sports medicine, orthopedics, fall prevention and balance training, neurological rehab, work related injuries, spine and back care, pain management, and wound care.
We are also proud to offer Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology at the Physical Therapy Outpatient clinic. Our Occupational Therapy staff has years of expertise in providing hand and upper extremity rehab, home modification and home safety evaluations, and self-care training. Our Speech Pathology staff is dedicated to providing the most up to date treatment methods for dysphagia and swallowing disorders, cognitive and memory issues, and speech impairment due to illness or injury.
Our staff currently includes 4 Physical Therapists, 1 Physical Therapist Assistants, 1 Occupational Therapist, 1 Occupational Therapy Assistant, and 2 Speech-Language Pathologist with plans on increasing staff as we continue to offer new state of the art programs to the surrounding communities.
If you have had an illness or injury and are not sure how to receive therapy services, give us a call at 238-2020 and we will be glad to help. If you are planning on seeing your doctor or have already, remember that it is your choice where to receive your therapy treatment and we would be privileged to be your choice.
