Pauls Valley General Hospital is a not-for-profit community-based healthcare facility providing services. New services are planned in response to patient needs and the organization’s mission. The following are essential services to fulfill the facility’s commitment to the community: diagnostic radiology, nutritional, emergency and general medicine, obstetrics, pathology and clinical laboratory, pharmaceutical, rehabilitation, respiratory care, surgery, social work, home health, hospice, emergency medical services, anesthesia, skilled nursing and assisted living. The organization’s leaders collaborate to develop an operating budget, consistent with the mission, approved by the governing board, and communicated to all employees and medical staff. Performance improvement activities are reviewed systematically by the Board with action taken on findings. Continuing education and staff development of all employees is promoted. Operations of the facility are within the guidelines of federal and state regulations, and departmental professional standards.
