Laboratory Services

The Pauls Valley General Hospital Laboratory staff pride themselves in their commitment to quality test analysis and dedication to the patients and physicians they serve. All testing personnel have degrees in their field, which ensures quality service and accurate results to our patients. Our laboratory instruments are “state-of-the art” and provide accurate and timely results. The laboratory meets or exceeds all State and National standards for operation. Most of the tests ordered are done "in-house" which means your physician has immediate access to the result. Our laboratory offers testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Transfusion medicine, and Microbiology. Anyone with a signed physician order may come to our laboratory to have their testing done. Also, you physician may fax an order directly to the lab at 405-238-1112. No appointment is necessary, just come to the lab Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Once completed, results will be faxed to your physician. There is no need to go out of town for your lab work. Our professional staff will be happy to assist you.

The laboratory at Pauls Valley General Hospital also provides urine drug screen and breath alcohol collections for many area companies. These include pre-employment, post accident, reasonable suspicion, and random. The lab is available Monday through Friday 8am–4:30 pm for routine collections. We provide both D.O.T. and non-D.O.T. collections and all of our collectors are D.O.T. certified.
