
Pauls Valley General Hospital is recruiting a Chief Nursing Officer
to lead its nursing operations. The CNO is responsible for all nursing
practices, policies and procedures, and ensuring that current
professional standards are met. The ideal candidate should be able to
demonstrate success in the following areas:
1) Clinical and process quality improvement
2) Building strong nursing management teams
3) Nurse recruitment and retention
4) Collaborating with physicians to meet medical staff needs and
improve quality of care
5) Commitment to service excellence, improving customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of Studer concepts/principles is highly desired.
6) Strong financial results in nursing operations, including
productivity management.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Joint
Commission and CMS regulatory requirements, and have achieved a Master
of Science in Nursing (or equivalent degree).
Candidates should also be active within their nursing professional
associations – state and/or nationally. Minimum requirements - licensed
RN in State of OK with a BSN. 5 years of nursing management in an acute
care hospital. Have a working knowledge of personal computers and
office software, and knowledge of electronic health records. Excellent
